I'm Mette: rider and photographer. Those two worlds come together in every image I create.
01 — My bond with the sport
Not just taking photos. Understanding the sport.
I've been in the saddle myself for twenty years. That's how I know how quickly a moment can pass: the rhythm of a course, the tension before a jump, a rider's concentration and the small moments around it.
I bring that experience into my photography. I don't just look for a beautiful image, but also for timing, posture and movement. That way I try to capture not just the moment, but the story of horse and rider together.
02 — My photography
Images with a feel for timing.
Since 2026 I've been professionally capturing equestrian sport for others. My focus is on show jumping, from national competitions to CSIs, complemented by free jumping, foal inspections and other moments within the equestrian world.
My style focuses on images that feel natural, yet strong and professional at the same time. Whether it's a competition moment, a portrait or images for selling a horse: the right moment is always central.
